(Psalms 91:7) A thousand shall fall at your side, 10,000 on your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Jude 24, Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling into present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.
With so many Saints falling away from the Lord these days, it can be discouraging. We may even wonder how can God keep us from falling,?
Recently I read that one of my favorite Christian singers Turned away from Christ and is now gay. Many of my friends from Bible college days are not even following Christ anymore. In Psalms 91:7) We read that many were falling thousand even, but the one who is resting under the shadow of the Almighty who was abiding under his wings, were safe from falling. Hallelujah, glory to God!
I have seen even the most devoted saints slowly turn away from God, they now only utter soft speeches and pampering sermons. The fire is gone out, it’s just cold clammy Christianity. However, Judes words bring us hope and encouragement for the day that we live in, that the Lord can keep us from falling.
The message of Jude was not only would we survive till the end, but that we would do so with exceeding joy, not limping, not stumbling, but running with a full steam. God promised us a supply of joy to the end. This totally crushes the idea that the church would go through such as severe apostasy that We would be limping to the finish line, whether we even make it at all.
Jude said onto him who is able to keep us from falling, this is the answer, it is God who keeps us by his supernatural grace, he is able to keep us till the end of our journey, praise God!
Dear saints, don’t lose your joy, don’t backslide, keep pouring out more of your devotion to the Lord, keep pouring out all your love on him, revival will come to the remnant flock of Joseph , who love Jesus, and long to serve him faithfully. When we hear, or see Christians falling away, we mustn’t let it conflict us, it’s hard though when we see churches that are barely alive, they seem to be going away from God, Remember though him who is able to keep you from falling and present your blameless before him with exceeding great joy.
